The Asana school of English is set in a fully-restored Tuscan farmhouse
and located in Prunecchio, a small hamlet of several houses within
walking distance of the villages of Chiozza and Castiglione di Garfagnana.
Castelnuovo di Garfagnana, the principal town of the area served by
good rail and bus connections, is just a fifteen-minute drive away.

The main building at Prunecchio consists of eight bedrooms
accommodating up to sixteen people, six bathrooms, main kitchen,
common room, kitchen for guests' use, large classroom, terraces
and computer room. There is free wireless internet available
throughout the house at all times. Separate houses within the hamlet
of Prunecchio are also available for small groups or individuals wishing
for more privacy during their stay.

Colm and Adi are resident English language teachers and will be your point of reference at Prunecchio. Their children aged seventeen, fifteen, twelve and nine are ever present and will bring out your English for better or for worse! Also staying at the centre is a transient community of native English speakers from all over the world, who help out with the housework, accompany you on walks and other activities around the area and chat with you around the fire in the evenings. You will be fully immersed in English from the moment you get up in the morning until you retire in the evening.
